Sunday School for Adults

Grow in your faith through engaging classes held every Sunday morning @ 10am. Topics range from biblical teachings to practical Christian living.

John and Susannah Wesley Class – Room 201 (upstairs)

The John and Susannah class is made up of mostly retirees who enjoy reading scripture together and reflect on its meaning. The class will focus on a certain book of the Bible for a certain period of time, and the emphasis is on thoughtful conversation rather than lecture.

Journey Class – Room 202 (upstairs)

The Journey class is a multi-generational class that draws on each other’s experiences to grow faith from a scripture-based perspective. Weekly discussions are centered on specific Bible passages, using both lectionary readings and optional books.

Forever Young Adults Class – Wisteria Parlor

The Forever Young Adults is a group of millennials, both single and married. The focus of this class is primarily book studies and reading guides that range from liturgical, calendar aligned devotionals to spiritual poetic prose to theological discourse. The format is like that of a “book club” with class members suggesting the reading material and rotating leadership.

Young Adult Class – Fellowship Parlor

This class brings together college-aged students, recent graduates, and young adults for faithful, in-depth study of Scripture. Through a book-by-book exploration of the Bible, participants engage in discussion, deepen their understanding of God’s Word, and build meaningful community.
